With the opening of the KOI, the ambitious restaurateurs Uli Springer and Dino Klemencic skilfully and confidently set new accents in the Munich gastronomy scene. The KOI, named after the famous and valuable fish, contains many elements of a Japanese Izakaya. The design impresses with a simple interior and is more reminiscent of an exclusive location in New York. During the sunny months a very pleasant terrace offers plenty of space for guests. The view of the Wittelsbacherplatz is preserved in the service. The interplay of typical "Japanese tapas", an exquisite selection of sushi in combination with carefully selected meat, fresh fish and crustaceans offer the guest true culinary experiences. Since its opening in 2013, the KOI has firmly established its place among the best restaurants in Munich.
