The Isartor is one of the historic gates of the city of Munich and was built in 1337. It was built as one of the gates for the second city wall during the expansion of the city by Ludwig the Bavarian. The Isartor is almost completely preserved and stands for the history of Munich like no other gate. It is one of the most beautiful sights of Munich.
